About Jaden

"I love golf more than any other thing I can imagine."

Jaden Rei Soong was born on January 26, 2010 in Los Angeles, California. He is an active boy who is full of energy, loves life, and loves to joke around. The only time he is serious is when he's on the golf course. Jaden picked up his first set of plastic clubs at the age of 2 to discover he had a natural golf swing. At two and a half years old, he began taking private lessons and has been playing ever since.

Jaden has bursted onto the national radar of golf professionals & enthusiasts alike. From becoming the youngest SCGA amateur champion, to winning the Curry Cup, Jaden is proving to be a dominant figure in the golf world.

U.S. Amateur at Hazeltine National 

Jaden had an incredible experience playing with the world’s best amateurs at the 14th U.S. Amateur at Hazel National. Jaden shot rounds of 79-71 (+8) in his first ever appearance.

SCGA Amateur Championship

Jaden becomes the youngest ever to win the SCGA Championship at 14 years old. He shot a 66 in the final round at Saticoy to finish at 10 under. Absolutely clinical performance by Jaden.

SoCal Boys Junior Amateur Champ

Jaden Soong was the last man standing in a three-way playoff to win the SoCal Boys Junior Amateur Championship. He shot 68-74 and earned exemption into the 2024 SCGA Am. & California Am.
